THE THIRD STREET FARMER’S MARKET

Every Saturday morning from 7:30 until 11:30 a.m., The Third Street Farmers Market, located behind Tommy Bahamas in the Neapolitan parking between Third and Gordon Drive, overflows with fresh produce, flowers, pastas, cheeses, seafood, baked goods, prepared foods,  jams, relishes as well as superb glycerin soaps, shell mirrors and much more . Music, coffee, dog treats, and many other delights make The Third Street Farmers Market perfect for grown-ups, children, dogs, and every other member of the family.

THURSDAYS ON THIRD

Thursdays on ThirdEvery Thursday from November until the end of May, and every Third Thursday from June through October, the courtyards and plazas of Third Street South resound with music.  From 6:00 until  9:00 pm, listen to jazz, rock, folk, steel band or some other group, and  if the spirit moves - as it always does - dance until you can dance no more. The shops are open, the restaurants welcome you, and the music beckons. Come. Thursdays on Third is all about fun.

 

 

 

THIRD ON CANVAS - MARCH 12 & 13 PAINTING DAYS - MARCH 18 AUCTION

Third on Canvas

Artists, chosen and sponsored by Third Street South Merchants Association, paint the wonderful buildings, fountains, plazas, and courtyards of the Third Street South historic district. The Birthplace of Naples with its original cottages, The Pier, Crayton Cove, The City Docks, and at its center, Third Street with its shops and restaurants is a perfect model. Watch the artists create their masterpieces and if you love one, bid on it at the live auction held at the end of week.   All of the art created on the street will be sold at the auction with the proceeds benefiting the The Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.

NAPLES MUSIC FESTIVAL - APRIL 1, 2012

Naples Music Festival The Naples Music Festival is a well respected outdoor music festival directly benefitting the Garden of Hope and Courage maintenance endowment. The event taking place every other year on Third Street South received overwhelming support in 2004 and 2006 and has drawn great musical entertainment including the Pointer Sisters, Chuck Mangione, Arturo Sandoval, the Commodores, the Funk Brothers and Cheap Trick.

 CHRISTMAS ON THIRD - NOVEMBER 19, 2012  

Holiday Events at Naples Third StThird Street South, full of twinkly lights and wonderful red and silver decorations, launches the Holiday Season as the Mayor lights the official Christmas tree. Music and bells resound from every courtyard and plaza, Santa arrives, the crèche is alive at Third and Broad, and…the snow falls – which it continues to do every evening. Christmas on Third Street South is full of joy and spirit.

NEW YEAR'S EVE AND THE FOURTH OF JULY

Bring in the New Year on Third Street South with hats, favors and fun, and bring everyone to celebrate The Fourth of July when the spectacular fireworks display goes off only two blocks away by The Naples Pier.

PETS ON THIRD - JANUARY, 2013

Pets on Third fills the area with pets of many sorts as well as boutiques and services that relate to their health and well-being.  Parades, special events in the stores and restaurants and other activities make for a joyous time.
